The Spanish Ministry of Health have approved the Royal Decree that eliminates the obligation to wear masks in outdoor spaces.
The new rule will come into force this Thursday February 10th.
There are a few exceptions where the use of a mask will continue to be mandatory:
At large outdoor events, where attendees are standing
In large outdoor events, where attendees are seated and not maintaining at least 1.5 m of distance between non-cohabitants
The use of a mask is still recommended in crowds.
