NEW GENERAL SPEED LIMITS on URBAN ROADS:
20 km/h on roads that have single carriageway & pavement. 30 km/h on single lane roads per direction of travel. 50 km/h on roads with two or more lanes per traffic direction.
These limits apply within towns, villages, cities & urban areas. FINES for EXCEEDING the SPEED LIMITS will differ depending on how much the limit is exceeded.
